About An Riocht Archery Club

Established in 2013, we are a group of fun-loving individuals who enjoy getting together to shoot different styles of bows and perfect our shooting skills.

We shoot indoors once a week on Mondays from 7-9 in John Mitchells hall, Tralee unless it's a bank holiday.  Then we take a well earned break and wait impatiently for the next Monday session.

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced archer, we have something for everyone.

We take part in charity and festival events across Kerry so people of all abilities can come have a go and see what we are all about. Some of the events we have taken part in are the Kilflynn Fairy festival, Feile na mBlath Tralee, Rose of Tralee Festival, and Fenit WildMind Festival to name but a few.

Begginer Courses

Want To Learn Archery?

We offer 4 - 5 beginners courses every year suitable for adults, teens and children (aged 8+, under 13s must be accompanied by a guardian at all times). All safety and training equipment is supplied by the club for the duration of the training course.

Each course is taught by Archery Ireland-accredited coaches. Emphasis is placed on providing beginners with a solid foundation in the basic techniques of archery.

The 8-week course takes place Monday evenings from 7-9pm in John Mitchells Hall in Tralee and costs €90 euro.
